Our Women

“Our team is stellar and very comfortable with jumping in to help other team members get a job done efficiently. We are all women at this location and have respect for each other as an individual and when collaborating as a team. Our team has the understanding that the clients are our priority and their needs will come first.”

Kara, Service Coordination Manager, Bradenton

Our Family First women in homecare go above and beyond their role. They seamlessly blend medical expertise with nurturing care, creating a comforting environment where children can thrive in their own homes. These women become part of the family, offering a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and a partner in all the ups and downs. They celebrate victories, big and small, and provide a soft landing during tough times.

“I definitely didn’t go into nursing school with private duty nursing as my goal, and I, without a doubt, went into nursing school completely against pediatrics. But the joke is on me because I’ve been with this family for four years, and it has been the most gratifying, fulfilling experience of my life outside of my personal family. Not only having a front-row seat but a vital hands-on role in this little guy’s fight and journey to reaching goals he was never supposed to reach is really what has made private duty nursing the place for me.”

Stronger Together

Women in pediatric homecare are often navigating challenges and confronting them with unwavering resolve. Whether it’s navigating new cases or managing the emotional toll of caring for chronically ill children, these team members and caregivers exhibit remarkable strength and perseverance.

“The most rewarding part for me is when the nurses and families are good fit for each other. I know sometimes it is hard to ensure a perfect fit but when it happens, I am extremely excited!”

Unwavering Support

Beyond daily tasks, our Family First women always empower each other and their teams to be the best they can be. Positivity radiates from these women as they encourage and support each other.

“Kara always holds a positive attitude no matter what. She’s silly, sweet and eager to learn.”

Katlyn, Personnel Coordinator, Bradenton

“I’m so proud to say that Julie is part of my team.  I have had the privilege of working by her side for 25 years now.  In that time, she has shown immense compassion for not only the families we serve, but also the caregivers on our team. She is on the front lines of our fight to get the families the care they need and handles that challenge with grace and never-ending commitment.”
