Beyond their day-to-day, this team is always working for the betterment of the community through local fundraisers, and even trips to Washington DC to advocate for families and nurses.

Our Home Away From Home
The Glen Carbon office is a home base for all employees, from field nurses to personnel coordinators, to find support and resources to help them grow professionally and personally, and provide the best care to our families. Outside of the office, our employees often work with local hospitals and organizations, supporting the entire community.
“Our office likes to help the community by participating in fundraisers. Beth, Laura, and I did one recently for Ranken Jordan Children’s Hospital – Glow Bingo Night. It was a great night of fun and helped raise the needed funds for the equipment they needed to help children just like the kiddos we at Family First care for.”

The Glen Carbon office is always Raising the Bar. From caring for their nurses to community involvement, they work tirelessly to deliver the highest possible standards of both care and communication to the families they serve and the team members they work with. Beth, the Director of Operations, recently went to Washington DC for the second time to represent Family First in meetings with legislators, advocating for families and nurses.
“It filled me with such an immense sense of pride in the work we do. I’ve been fortunate enough to go back [to Washington DC], as well as go do the same thing at the Illinois State Capital. Allowing members of our team to participate in events like these illustrates how committed Family First is to do all we can to support our families, from big-picture legislative efforts to day-to-day care coordination in patient homes.”
