Coordinating multiple care providers can be overwhelming, which is why we offer a comprehensive service to coordinate the provision of care to your child. We develop strong and collaborative relationships with the medical communities who share the responsibility of identifying, prescribing and delivering the right care.
Hospital Rapport
The rapport we keep with doctors and specialists doesn’t end when your child leaves the hospital. We maintain consistent communication with your physicians and provide the visibility they need to assess and ensure your child is receiving care and support they need as developments occur.
Nurse Education
In addition to our team undergoing training specific to the families they are working with, our dedicated nurses are offered comprehensive training including:
- Tracheostomy and ventilator management
- Respiratory-related diagnosis common in homecare
- Adult and pediatric respiratory care
- Durable medical equipment (DME)
Pediatric Teaching
We are committed to becoming a pediatric teaching organization as a strategy to improve pediatric nursing across the industry for nurses and therapists who work for any organization. Families are in need of advanced skill sets to safely provide complex care and Family First Homecare is dedicated to delivering it.

What our clients have said.
Testimonials.
“I am a single mom of two and Family First Homecare has been nothing but awesome since myself and my daughter have retained their services for skilled nursing. From the first assessment, to the follow-up calls, they have been great! All the nurses are well trained as well as cross trained and are always involved in my daughter’s care. You cannot go wrong with choosing this Family First, and I highly recommend them.” I.M., Lehigh Acres, FL
“Family First are the best we have had for home nursing for our daughter! They communicate and are always ensuring they are bringing the best nurse to your house that fits well with your family! We had a recent situation with insurance and they worked after hours with us to resolve this. Look no further for home nursing or skilled nursing!” Gareth S., Bradenton, FL
“My son, L.D., was born with a very rare neuromuscular disease called X-Linked Myotubular Myopathy. I am happy to say that L.D. is now almost 5 years old thanks to the incredible Private Duty Nursing care he has received through Family First Home Health. He has a tracheostomy and a g-tube (feeding tube). He is on a ventilator 24/7. He is entirely dependent on skilled, licensed nurses for his care. We have made it through the most difficult trials and tribulations this year thanks to Family First and the care L.D. has been receiving from his current nursing staff. He is medically thriving. Thank you Family First for making a huge difference in my son’s life!.” E.H., Palm Harbor, FL
